Congregation Shaarey Zedek is establishing a Minyan League to ensure that we consistently have enough people to hold services in-person twice a day. This initiative is very important to the future of the shul and future generations. The Shaarey Zedek Minyan League (SZML) is based on a program in Calgary where they have successfully rebuilt their minyan by having people commit to a schedule of attendance. 
 

 
  • Teams set a specific day each month to daven (Except Saturdays). 
  • Services are Monday to Thursday 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM, Friday 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM;
  • Sundays, Canadian Holidays, and non-working Jewish Holidays 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM. 
  • If there are more than 24 days of service days in a month, 2-3 teams would come 
  • Twice a month. We promise to be flexible based on each teams’ availability.
  • Saturdays are not part of the league schedule, however, we encourage participation at Saturday 
  • Morning Service at 10 AM, and Saturday Evening at 6:00 PM to support those saying Kaddish.
